Birthday party photos

Collect everyone’s photos from the birthday party

Milestone birthdays bring together people from every part of someone’s life: family, old school friends, colleagues. Each of them takes photos, and each set ends up in a different phone. A shared gallery with a QR code collects them in one place for the birthday person to keep.

Great for milestone and surprise parties

A 30th, 40th, 50th or 60th birthday is often a once-in-a-decade gathering. Photos from those evenings become more valuable over time, so it is worth making it easy for guests to share them. For surprise parties, the organiser can set up the event in advance and hand over the host link afterwards as part of the gift.

How it works

  1. create a free event with the party name and date.
  2. Print the QR code or show it on a screen. You can also paste the link into the invitation or group message.
  3. Guests scan, optionally type their name and upload photos from their camera roll.
  4. On Standard and Plus, run a slideshow on the TV during the party so guests see their photos appear.
  5. Download everything as one zip file after the party.

Ideas to make it fun

Kids’ birthday parties

For children’s parties, parents often want the photos without adding everyone to yet another group chat. A private gallery reachable only through its link is a simple alternative. As the host you can delete any photo, and every photo has a report button so a parent can ask for an image to be removed. Only share the link with the families who attended.

Compared to other options

A group chat is quick, but photos get mixed with messages and are often compressed. Shared albums in Google Photos or iCloud work well when everyone uses the same service, but usually ask guests to sign in. A QR code gallery suits mixed groups where you simply want everything in one place with as little friction as possible. For a small family dinner, a group chat may be all you need; for a big party, a gallery saves a lot of collecting afterwards.

Which plan fits

For a small gathering, the free trial (up to 20 photos) may be enough and is a good way to test. Parties with many guests or videos fit Standard (249 SEK, up to 500 uploads) or Plus (499 SEK, up to 2000 uploads). You pay once per event, with no subscription. Planning another occasion?
