Photo sharing for corporate events and conferences
After a kick-off, conference or company party, marketing and HR want the photos, but they are spread across attendees’ phones. Show a QR code on stage, on badges or on tables, and the photos collect in one gallery your team can review and download.
Typical uses
- Conferences and summits: crowd-sourced shots from sessions, the venue and networking breaks.
- Kick-offs and offsites: team photos and activities for internal channels.
- Company parties: one place for the evening’s photos instead of scattered chat threads.
- Trade shows: your team’s photos from the stand, gathered while the event is still running.
How it works for organisers
- create a free event for the event and add a short welcome text, for example a note on what kind of photos you are looking for.
- Put the QR code on the stage screen between sessions, on badges, on table cards or in the event app or email.
- Attendees upload from their phones without creating an account, which keeps the barrier low.
- On Standard and Plus, show the live slideshow on a screen in the lounge or during breaks.
- Download all files as a zip for your marketing or internal communication team.
Moderation and control
Corporate events need a bit more control than a private party. In the host dashboard you can delete any upload. Every photo has a report button; a reported item is hidden automatically after repeated reports from different people until the host reviews it. You can delete the entire event when you are done. Galleries are not indexed by search engines and are reachable only through the unique link, so share it with attendees only.
Consent and privacy
Photos of people are personal data under GDPR, so it is good practice to tell attendees how photos will be used. A line in your event information such as "Photos shared in this gallery may be used in internal communication" sets expectations. Anyone who appears in a photo can report it for removal. Data is hosted on Cloudflare and deleted automatically when the plan’s storage period ends (180 days on Standard, 365 days on Plus). Read the privacy policy for details.
Compared to the alternatives
An event photographer delivers curated, professional images and is the right choice for official material. A crowd-sourced gallery adds volume and perspectives a single photographer cannot cover. Event apps sometimes include photo walls, but require attendees to install and log in. Shared drives keep original files but are built for documents rather than browsing photos. Snap9 is a lightweight option when you want a separate, temporary gallery that works in any phone browser.
Pricing and receipts
Pricing is per event, with no subscription or seat licences. Standard (249 SEK) allows up to 500 uploads including videos; Plus (499 SEK) allows up to 2000 and keeps uploads open for 90 days. Payment is handled by Stripe, which emails a receipt. Smaller team events may fit the free trial of 20 photos. For a less formal gathering, see reunion photo sharing.
